I've always had a passion for cycling since I was young child. I've been fortunate to travel to many places through racing and touring over the years. I recently completed a 4 month tour of Eastern Europe with my good friends Peter Felvus and Len DeMoss, now it's time to take on South America. On the 28th July 2014 I will ride over 11,000kms to reach the bottom of the world. Come along and join me on another amazing journey.
The Garmin 1000 is the leading edge.

Half Way There
Today we got a chance to sleep in to 7am, how good is that ? We had to get bused from nambucca heads to urunga because it was far too dangerous to ride on. We finally started riding at 10:30am and reached the 30km morning tea stop at 11.15am. We were flying along. After the usual cup of tea and carrot cake it was time to take the 5km climb. I took it easy and made the top with good climbers. The rest of the day was rolling hills through a beautifull rain forest. After lunch the heavens opened up and once again i got drenched. Wet shoes again to start tomorrows ride sucks. We arrived in grafton at 3.20 and my legs are feeling good. Tonight dinner will be at the local club and then back to the fitzroy motel for a well earned sleep.Todays ride was 120 and not hard at all. Not sure what tomorrow brings other then wet asses again. So its good night from grafton.
