Ruby's on the beach.

Today I got the chance to meet some of the amazing visually impaired riders and support crew from eXsight Tandems.  We all enjoyed a fantastic coffee and some fatning cakes and cream at one of my supporters for the Cairo to Capetown fund raising night.  Ruby's on the beach at Bulli, is the best place to sit down and have a nice coffee and be looked after by Lauire and hs wonderful crew.  Next time you're out at Bulli and you see those strange men & women dressed up in Green lyrca, call in and have a coffee with them.  They are special people. Your shout next time Geoff.

Illawarra Mercury. WEEKENDER Edition 9th - 10th October 2010

Recently I had an article published in the local newspaper down in Wollongong.  The Mercury were very kind to print the story about my ride and more importantly highlight my charity.

Time to take the road bike for a ride for the last time.

Another 100ks completed and time to for a coffee break. 3 months to go before heading to Cairo and the training is coming along pretty good.  The only problem in training in my area is there's mountains everywhere you look.  Got my mountain bike back after a overhaul, that means the road bike has to be put away and time for some serious training.  It's the same bike I took to Africa in 2003/04.  It's withstood the test of time, not sure whether I have.
